ABB IRB 2600-12

ABB IRB 2600-12

The ABB IRB 2600-12 is a high speed extended reach robot that is used in arc welding and machine tending applications. This used industrial robot can be mounted to the floor, wall, shelf, or inverted. This ABB material handling robot is the successor to the ABB IRB 2400L. The ABB 2600-12/1.85 has a reach of either 1650 or 1850 MM depending on when it was produced. It also has a payload of 12KG giving it more flexibility in arc welding applications. The IRB 2600 uses the ABB IRC5 controller and is available in both the IRC5 single cabinet and IRC5 dual cabinet. These industrial robots can control up to 3 additional axes. This ABB robot is similar in payload and reach to the FANUC Arcmate 120ic/10L, Yaskawa Motoman MA1900, and KUKA KR 16-2. Additional applications in which this used ABB robot can perform include plasma cutting, laser welding, and plasma welding. Utilizing used ABB robots like the ABB IRB 2600 12 M2004 in GMAW welding applications will increase the accurancy of the weld.
